Central Oxygen System
Dr Vasantrao Pawar Medical College, Hospital & research Centre has started the facility of central oxygen system in 2011-12.
The liquid oxygen plant has a capacity of 6000 liters.
The operation theatre has central oxygen ,nitrous oxide ,suction and central air system.
ICU has central oxygen, suction and air system.
2 Air Compressors 15 Hp each for ventilators and 3 compressors 10 Hp each for central suction system are provided for the ICU, Casualty, NICU, PICU .
We have 40 jumbo oxygen cylinders for backup in emergency situation.
