The Department of Dentistry, though relatively small within the medical college, is well-equipped with modern dental chairs, digital radiography, and advanced surgical armamentarium to deliver high-quality patient care. The department is supported by a dedicated and efficient team capable of managing a wide spectrum of cases, ranging from routine dental procedures to complex maxillofacial pathologies.
Our faculty members are committed to providing patient-centered care with the utmost priority on quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. The department consistently strives to uphold excellence in clinical services while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
In addition to clinical care, the Department of Dentistry actively fulfills its social responsibility through community outreach initiatives. Regular dental and oral health awareness camps are conducted to educate the public, with special emphasis on the prevention and early detection of oral cancers, particularly those associated with tobacco use among young adults and college students.
The department also ensures continuous participation of faculty and staff in various social awareness programs, reaching diverse population groups across different age categories. Through these sustained efforts, we aim to promote better oral health and contribute meaningfully to community well-being.
