Fit INDIA Freedom Run 2.0 PROGRAM REPORT

FIT India Mission has conceptualized FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN 2.0 to commemorate the 75th Independence Day – “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. Nationwide campaign will be on the concept of “Physical/Virtual Run” in continuum from 13th August to 2nd October 2021 to encourage fitness and help us all to get freedom from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, diseases etc. The concept behind this run is that “It can be run anywhere, anytime!”.

Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 aims at “Jan Bhagidari se Jan Aandolan”

Fit India Freedom Run to culminate on Gandhi Jayanti, 2nd October, with nationwide Fit India Plog Run.

Fit India Movement: Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Fit India Movement on the occasion of National sports day at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.
Our institute will be organizing various exercises during the activity periods under FIT INDIA MOVEMENT.
The NSS Unit of the institute is encouraging all medical students to take up more physical activities like running, cycling, walking, outdoor games, and yoga activity.

Fit India Freedom Run will be held from 15th August – 2nd October 2020 to encourage fitness and to get freedom from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, diseases, etc. The concept behind this run is that “It can be run anywhere, anytime!”.

Student will-

  • Run a route of his/her choice, at a time that suits him/her.
  • Run his/her own race at one’s own pace.
  • Track run km manually or by using any tracking app on mobile or GPS watch.
  • Do the exercise of his/her choice
